Site specific installation in a city unsued kiosk called “Okrąglak” in Kościuszki Square in Wrocław, Poland.
“Okrąglak” – in English: “Rounded” was probably build in the beginning of the XX century and survived II World War, changes of the political system, riots and many later modernisations of the surrounding. Therefore “Okrąglak” is like a stable and quiet observer: has seen it all and has been here „always” – it remembers.
For the duration of the festival I have transformed the old kiosk into an observation place fully equipped with lunettes, telescopes, microscopes and one camera constantly streaming live the life outside „Okrąglak” on the side with no windows.
Everyone passing by could come in and shamelessly take a long peak into surrounding, could observe the life, the people passing by, the architecture details.
Everyone could come in and for some time slow down and melt into this building to become a stable and quiet observer.
