TRANSITION

A Place – Non-place, A Space – State.

A spacious tool for sharpening the senses, augmenting consciousness and deepening the attentiveness.

The clue of this installation is the movement as the source of recognition and self-consciousness.

It talks about crossing the borders of our superficial view. This process makes us take on challenges, and every so often leave the familiar and mapped out safety of our confines.

The viewer is invited to walk along and through the sculpture in order to personally experience numerous transitions.
The transitions of his/her emotional reactions, arising connotations, perceptional experiences: relations and play of various textures, reflections, lights and views (from soft, spherical, smoothing wavy walls to pointy, sharply and intimidatingly looking spaces).

SIZE: H: 220 x W: 110 x L: 400 cm
MATERIALS: blown glass, stainless steel, light, 2009
