This is an open and growing collection of glassware consisting of: a decanter/ flower vase, a drinking glass/ decanters stopper, a vine glass and a plate.
The drinking glass: product no: 68 1942 0250, is PRL tables icon. Nowadays, it is still mass-produced but widely neglected because of the times it reminds Polish customers of.
The decanter has been designed, hand made-bespoke for this drinking glass.
They both have simple wooden work-like shapes.
Kofifolk is a comment on the popular trend of overusing folk decoration in contemporary fashion and design.
The traditional Polish stripe pattern from Lowicz County has been transformed into a bar code as, as we all know: “folk sells”. (The colours and proportions of the original striped pattern have been kept )
Decoration is permanently fused into the glass surface. Products are dishwasher-friendly.
