Set design for the spectacle: In Between Dance And Music destroyer – man born out of M.A.D.D Directed by Kostas Georgakopulos.
Premiere : 30.09.2011, Impart, Wroclaw.
The place of the performance is divided into four polygonal spaces separated with translucent walls. Walls gently move – seem to breathe with the movement of the performers and spectators they also serve as screens for video projections.
“IN BETWEEN is a special kind of song and dance project – multidisciplinary LIVE INSTALATION involving music, dance, light, video art and scenography elements. Artists do not perform on the stage, spectators do not sit on the audience. There is just one place for both of them. We want to go beyond the distinction for the viewers and performers. “Used space” is not a normal theater space, it consists of 4 different “rooms” inside which artists and viewers simultaneously experience 4 contrasting worlds.” (www.avantart.pl )
Great thanks to: Lukasz Hantkiewicz, Karol Przestrzelski, Kuba Robaczewski and The AAF volunteers. <3
