TOUCH ME BABY, SQUEEZE ME UP!

A drinking glass prototype.

A sophisticated line of upper parts contrasts with the industrial character of the lower parts of the drinking glass.

This basic function has been developed to maximise the users ergonomic relationship with the glass in the most pleasurable way possible.

The bending and deflection of the tumbler wall forms a graceful support for the thumb. Use in this way causes the form fit perfectly to the hand. A Second incision can become the support for a slice of the lemon or tea bag string, etc.

Glasses are also a subtle tool for exercising to expand our sensual experience and perception in casual, every day situations.

The shape of the glass invites the user to take their glass in a new unparalleled way, creating a more sensual experience – by contacting with the whole palm the user has the feeling of holding an inner part of the glass itself-making contact with the object more intimate, resulting in the user feeling as though they giving shape to the glass in that very moment.

Vol: 200 ml

MATERIALS: mechanically and thermally processed not refundable glass bottles, 2007
